How to track state subsidies in Var?
The Var prefecture has launched a website to view public aid paid to local authorities and increase transparency.

On August 25, the préfet du Var presented the "Suivi-Subventions" website. This platform is designed to allow every citizen, specialist or neophyte, to view the subsidies allocated by the State to the local authorities of the department.
A simple and accessible platform
One of the strengths of the "Suivi-Subventions" website lies in its simplicity of use. Accessible to as many people as possible, it allows users to view financial aid at several geographical levels: by municipality, by Établissement Public de Coopération Intercommunale (EPCI), by arrondissement, or across the entire department.
The platform offers search functionalities, allowing users to filter information by multiple criteria. It is thus possible to sort data by beneficiary name, postal code, project theme (schools, sports equipment, energy renovation, heritage, mobility, etc.), constituency, type of subsidy, or even by range of years.

This granularity aims to offer a clear and detailed view of State financial support for local projects.
Making State action visible
The site's purpose is to make State action visible in the territories. By providing access to this data, the prefecture strengthens knowledge of public action and its concrete results on the ground.
Each citizen can thus identify the projects financed near them and understand how public funds are invested to improve the living environment, support the ecological transition, or develop local infrastructure.
Finally, the platform aggregates data from several major State support schemes for local authority investments.
Among the funds included in the scope of the website are:
The Fonds vert, intended to accelerate the ecological transition in the territories.
The DETR (Dotation d’équipement des territoires ruraux), which supports investment projects of municipalities and their groupings in rural areas.
The DSIL (Dotation de soutien à l’investissement local), which finances major investment priorities of municipalities and intercommunalities.
The DSID (Dotation de soutien à l’investissement départemental), which supports structuring projects carried out by departments.
The FNADT (Fonds national d’aménagement et de développement du territoire), which aims to support planning policies and reduce territorial inequalities.
