The Association des Maires et Présidents d’Intercommunalité du Var (AMF 83) announces that its next Board of Directors meeting will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026. The event will take place at 11:30 a.m. in the Edouard Soldani room of the Conseil Départemental du Var in Draguignan. This institutional meeting will be marked by a strong action for the security of Var municipalities: the official signing of a partnership agreement between the association of elected officials and the Groupement de Gendarmerie du Var.
This initiative, led by Jean-Pierre Véran, president of the Maires du Var and mayor of Cotignac, aims to structure and intensify cooperation between local elected officials and law enforcement throughout the department.
A strategic partnership for the security of the territory
The signing of this agreement is not a mere administrative formality.
