As part of a national collaboration aimed at strengthening the attractiveness of military careers, France Travail and the Gendarmerie nationale are intensifying their field actions.

In Var, this synergy takes shape through the deployment of a poster campaign in the thirteen local agencies of France Travail. This approach is part of a desire to facilitate the meeting between the institution's recruitment needs and people looking for a career path.

The information communication point and the youth reserve service of the gendarmerie have thus presented the France Travail territorial management of Var with a new visual poster, which will be widely distributed throughout the territory.

A digital tool to demystify careers

At the heart of this initiative, a QR code offers direct and simplified access to the online platform La Gendarmerie recrute. In a few seconds, users of France Travail agencies can explore the diversity of professions, access conditions, and the different commitment paths offered by the institution.

Far from being limited to operational functions alone, the Gendarmerie offers a range of career paths in varied sectors such as security, investigation, as well as technical, administrative, and logistical support positions. This wealth of professions makes it possible to meet a diversity of profiles, skills, and aspirations.

This partnership is based on continuous cooperation between France Travail teams and gendarmerie recruiters. This collaboration manifests throughout the year through a presence at employment fairs, such as the recent Toulon Defense Event or La Place de l’Emploi event, as well as through dedicated career guidance meetings.

A synergy to promote professions

"This synergy makes it possible to promote the professions of the Gendarmerie, answer candidates' questions, and create bridges between job seekers and recruiters," specifies Warrant Officer Nicolas Moulin, deputy head of the Service Réserve Jeunesse and leader of the Info Com – Recrutement point.

He adds: "It contributes to strengthening mutual knowledge among actors and placing recruitment actions in an approach adapted to local realities. The dissemination of this visual in the department's thirteen agencies extends this field dynamic. It reflects the desire of both partners to multiply points of contact with the public and facilitate access to reliable, direct, and updated information. I would like to thank Angélique Ricordel, Director of France Travail Var, as well as Virginie Jamet, PACA region France Travail security-defense expert, for this synergy."

With this initiative, France Travail and the Gendarmerie reaffirm their ambition to make professional opportunities more visible and accessible, thus contributing to the institution's recruitment goals and the professional integration of citizens.
