Design Parade, the event for contemporary creation

This event celebrated contemporary creation around design, offering a unique platform for young talents. On the ground, Design Parade unfolded in two parts. First, in Toulon, focusing on interior architecture, and in Hyères, dedicated to design. Thanks to this double approach, visitors discovered the multiple facets of contemporary decorative arts.

Since its creation in 2006, Design Parade Hyères has been highlighting promising young designers. Thus, every year, ten emerging creators present their works as part of a prestigious competition. "We make sure that former finalists continue to collaborate on exhibition and workshop projects, ensuring a follow-up of their work over several years," explains the organizing team. The festival also embodies the spirit of its patrons, Charles et Marie-Laure de Noailles, by offering a privileged creative space. "We perpetuate this tradition by inviting artists to focus on their work, thanks to the help of numerous private, local, and institutional partners. This contribution is essential to enable the finalists to bring their pieces to life," the team emphasized. This support network provides young designers with optimal conditions to realize their projects. Design Parade is thus a privileged moment for meetings and exchanges between professionals and design enthusiasts. "This festival is a crossroads for exchanges and meetings. With this 18th edition in Hyères and the 8th in Toulon, we have gathered many national and local partners," the team noted with enthusiasm. Since 2019, the festival has benefited from the support of the Centre Pompidou and the Métropole TPM. In 2023, this dynamic was strengthened with the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, the Centre national des arts plastiques and the Mobilier national.
