The health of business owners under debate
On June 29, on the occasion of the general meeting of the OTRE PACA at the Campus RCT in Toulon, professionals debated health at work.

It is the annual event and the opportunity for road transport professionals from the région Sud to meet in order to discuss the many issues that concern their daily lives. Impossible traffic on the roads, truck bashing, sluggish activity, repeated strikes at the port of Marseille, difficult relationships with clients, etc. The list of concerns of the bosses is unfortunately not exhaustive! "Our general meeting was also an opportunity to meet our partners during this day, in particular the manufacturers who presented their innovations. In this gloomy social climate and agitated political situation, the theme of the public debate was the "Health of the leader". A misunderstood but very real theme. On a daily basis, we often think of the health of employees. But we think too little of the health of leaders," explains Jean-Marc Montagnac, secretary general of the organization. "The debate, led by high-quality speakers, was particularly captivating. It did not solve all the problems, but it brought a different perspective to the entrepreneurial spirit that drives leaders and breathed a kind of welcome breath of fresh air," adds Olivier Riandée, the president of the union. Recently, Jean-Marc Montagnac mentioned the situation of professionals in the golfe de Saint-Tropez: "During the health crisis, hauliers were considered, as Emmanuel Macron put it, the second line of defense. Citizens in lockdown were happy to be able to do their food shopping during the short authorized outing periods and to have purchases made on distance selling platforms on the Internet delivered in record time. Today, what remains of the consideration shown to road transport professionals? (...). Last April, we reacted to the ban implemented by the mayor of Grimaud on vehicles over 26 tonnes in his municipality, without consulting professionals."
