At collège Le Fenouillet, a dynamic Foyer Socio-Éducatif
On July 2, a ceremony rewarded students who received triple honors during the school year.

It is important to recall what the Foyer Socio-Éducatif (FSE) of the Collège Le Fenouillet is. It is an association, managed and run by volunteers within the school premises. The FSE consists of several members including Amélie Iannolo-Medina, president and parent, Carole Negrel (treasurer), mathematics teacher, and Carine Huntzinger (secretary and parent).

The FSE is funded by student contributions and the sale of photos.
SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY Concerning the operation of the FSE, president Amélie Iannolo-Medina emphasizes: "The association wishes to support any action, any project as long as it has an educational value for young people or encourages them to develop their sense of responsibility and community life." She specifies the role of the foyer: "It organizes or facilitates the organization of extracurricular activities in the form of clubs, workshops, various events, as well as outings or trips." The president adds: "Thus, students are offered activities such as theater, drawing, singing, math, bridge, newspaper, podcast, sophrology workshops, etc.
".
The FSE can also offer gifts (such as movie tickets) to the winners of football and basketball sports tournaments organized during the lunch break by the Conseillers Principaux d'Éducation (CPE). It co-finances part of the trips (skiing, trips to Espagne and Auvergne, etc.). This association also offers specific activities (investigation games and board game sessions) for the boarders of the school's boarding house, qualified as an Internat d'Excellence.

PROM AND REWARDS By funding the Bal des 3èmes, the FSE helped close the students' school year at the collège in joy and good spirits. Indeed, the awards ceremony for students with triple honors is also organized by the FSE.
On this subject, the president proudly adds: "This ceremony is a way to honor good students, to congratulate them for their hard work, attendance, and perseverance. There are 130 of them this year." The students received a certificate of congratulations, and a €15 gift card (to spend in a cultural and creative goods and leisure store) from the FSE.
This year, the Conseil Départemental rewarded them by offering a tote bag containing a water bottle, a notebook, a pen, and a cap.
The collège Le Fenouillet thus ended the school year on a high note. Laurette PARAY.
