"Before hanging up and having given him the answer to the purpose of his request to Allo Agri, I shared with him my concerns about the difficulties he is encountering, particularly the high yield losses in the harvest. After explaining his difficulties, the conversation turned to the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games," says Max Bauer. He adds: "Indeed, he had decided, along with his wife, to finish their work in the fields early enough for him, and for her with her animals, to allow themselves a break for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. They were curious about the crazy bet because, for the first time in the history of the Games, the ceremony was not being held in a stadium but along the six kilometers of the banks of the Seine through Paris. A ceremony that was followed by more than a billion viewers worldwide!"

TRIBUTE TO THE FORCES OF LAW AND ORDER

However, the president of Allo Agri rejoiced: "We must salute the forces of law and order and the specialists in charge of security, and all the volunteers for their unprecedented security mission. Despite continuous rain, the ceremony lasted more than 3 hours and 30 minutes, in the presence of 1,500 athletes, 206 international delegations on 160 boats. The program was divided into 12 scenes showcasing the architectural richness of many Parisian monuments." On the other hand, what upset this couple of Vendéen farmers, even as they shared the event with great enthusiasm, was the "liberté" scene which started on the facade of the Conciergerie with a tribute to the French Revolution. On this point, the farmer explained: "It seems to me that this is the first time an opening ceremony of the Olympic Games has presented a bloodthirsty scene by brandishing the severed head of a woman, queen and mother, that of Marie Antoinette! Sadness and desolation to trample upon the history of France! We should not be surprised or moved to see our children find a video of Islamist terrorists circulating on the Web commonplace! I would be curious to know what the teachers' unions think after the death of their colleague Samuel Paty, murdered and decapitated shortly after leaving his middle school in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine!"

GREAT UNEASE

Then, the farmer couple continued to watch, but a great unease had settled in front of the television set. During the conversation with Max Bauer, he added: "I was not at the end of my surprises when, in the festivities scene, I discovered this poor, degenerate guy, practically naked, in silver-glittered blue, in the presence of drag queens, reinterpreting the Last Supper, the final meal of Christ with his apostles. As practicing Christians, we were touched to the depths of our souls. We can caricature the Christian religion, of course. But let's do the same with other religions. Only, it is much more complicated if not dangerous! Insulted, mocked, bruised, we decided to turn off the television. A few minutes later, our daughter called us because she was concerned about our reaction after seeing these images. She tried to reassure us by explaining that it was the god Dionysus or Bacchus. Not convinced! She invited us to follow the end of the ceremony." After hearing Céline Dion, seeing the last relays of the torch, and the lighting of the cauldron by Teddy Riner and Marie-José Pérec, which rose into the Jardin des Tuileries, this farmer confided to him: "Why must art absolutely shock? Especially for an Olympic Games opening night! Why did we have to break the codes for Games that are built on rules, the search for perfection and surpassing oneself? Fraternity, inclusion, and friendship can be conveyed other than through provocation and vulgarity."

REGRETTABLE WOKE IDEOLOGY

A devastating observation shared by Max Bauer. Angrily, the latter says: "Who are we kidding? Anne Descamps, communications director for Paris 2024, defended herself half-heartedly, without convincing anyone: 'There was never any intention to show disrespect to any religious group whatsoever [...]. If people have taken offence, we are really sorry.' This pitiful defense did not convince French people who have their feet on the ground! 'Are you going to make us believe that at the highest levels of the state, leaders were not aware of the themes addressed and the political and societal messages conveyed. If by chance that was not the case, then there is a real danger in putting French society in the hands of artists. Because this could lead to international crises, given the outcry created in certain countries. Furthermore, the Olympic Committee removed the opening video in nearly 210 countries. Without saying why? The regrettable woke ideology, which is structured in part around identity issues related to race, gender, and sexual orientation, heavily bled through during this ceremony, shamelessly trampling on our French history and our roots. Without shame, do not be afraid! Without violence, but with affirmation and determination, let's go on a crusade! It will be fine, it will be fine by asserting: "I am a Christian,"' concludes Max Bauer."
