Until 21 September, the public can enjoy a varied summer programme, suitable for all visitors.
PIANO RECITAL, JEAN DUBÉ
Virtuoso pianist Jean Dubé draws inspiration from the simple joys of forest walks for this concert. From birdsong to the whispers of the forest, landscapes emerge with a romanticism heightened by Liszt, Tchaïkovski, Chopin, Grieg, or Sibelius.
Duration 1 hour. Friday 6 September at 7:30 pm.
OBJECT THEATRE
Imagine being transported into a captivating story told through various animated objects accompanied by music, all staged by the Compagnie Divine Usine. An original way to discover one of the works competing for the Prix des Lecteurs du Var, awarded during the next Fête du Livre du Var in November 2024 in Toulon.
Duration 45 minutes. Open to all from 10 years old. Saturday 7 September at 3:30 pm.
COME AND SHARE YOUR IDEAS!
Participate in an exciting role-playing game, take part in the debate, and choose the best decisions for the future of the Espace nature départemental du Plan by becoming, for example, the site manager, an elected representative of the Département, the president of a biodiversity protection association, or a visitor on foot or by bicycle. Take up the challenge by exchanging your different points of view.
Duration 1 hour 30 minutes. Open to all from 8 years old.

WHAT IF YOU LEARNED TO COMMUNICATE WITH BIRDS?
Learn how to make a bird call to imitate birds and sing with them. Explore the mysteries of bird vocal learning, identify the different sounds they make, and decode the secret language of their plumage.
Duration 1 hour 30 minutes. Open to all from 8 years old. Friday 30 August at 10 am.
NATURALIST LECTURES
The first Thursday of every month. At 6 pm, duration 1 hour. Upon registration (limited number of places, open to all)
THE CICADA, AN AMAZING INSECT!
Discover the fascinating world of cicadas, their biology, behaviour, and impact on the ecosystem. Learn the secrets of their enchanting song, their unique life cycle, and their crucial and often underestimated role in our environment. By Vincent Blondel, naturalist. On 5 September.
SPONTANEOUS ENCOUNTERS WITH A NATURALIST GUIDE
No registration required. For young and old. From 9 am to 11 am. Enjoy the flight of the grey heron, admire the colours of the kingfisher from the terrace of the house through a telescope or along the paths of the nature reserve. A naturalist guide will introduce you to the animal and plant species visible on the site.
Wednesdays 28 August, 4 September, 11 September, and 18 September, Sunday 25 August.
