Françoise Dedon's painting full of memories and encounters

CHATEAU PAS DU CERF Her paintings are eclectic, the result of the union between art, design, architecture, nature, fashion, and plant life.

She also offers a permanent exhibition in two galleries in Hyères-les-Palmiers. 'I explore themes related to women, to relationships between men and women. My painting is inhabited by memories, encounters, favorites from a world rich in discoveries, beauty, and feelings.

I have a constant desire to innovate and surprise,' says this artist who has traveled across the world 'Tanzanie, Kenya, Mexique, SriLanka, Brésil, Thaïlande, Angleterre, Pays-Bas'.

She also lived in Côte d'Ivoire. 'These discoveries of new horizons, of peoples, have formed over my travels a library of memories from which I sometimes draw inspiration. The range of interests and different forms of art that I observe blends into my palette,' she explains.

Initiated in 1998 by the Vignerons Indépendants du Var, Art & Vin invites artists or artist collectives every year to install their works or perform in emblematic locations such as cellars, wineries, or in the middle of the vineyards. With this event, visitors are invited to discover, from a new angle, around fifty estates and châteaux of the region as far as Corse.

Nestled in the heart of a 700-hectare forest, the 80 hectares of vineyards of Château Pas du Cerf thrive in a preserved biodiversity. In the family home of Domaine Pas du Cerf, the culture of wine and love of the land have been passed down with the same fervor since 1848. Today, the three sisters of the Gualtieri family manage the vineyard and bring it to life with sincerity and authenticity, welcoming visitors during events and for longer stays thanks to the two gîtes for 8 people in a beautiful wooded garden.
