Barely inaugurated, the shared path to La Garonne is already highly popular!

Indeed, the City has inaugurated a shared path that allows a safe and ecological crossing. Open to all, young and old, bicycles or pedestrians, enjoy it, it is made for you! A major project supported by the Métropole Toulon Provence Méditerranée and the Ville du Pradet, part of the commitment to develop soft mobility, the shared path, linking the city center to La Garonne, was inaugurated in the presence of Hervé Stassinos, mayor of Le Pradet, of Geneviève Lévy, vice-president of the Métropole TPM in charge of transport and mobility issues, and of many elected officials of the Conseil municipal.

QUALITY DEVELOPMENT

Cyclists, pedestrians, parents with strollers and people with reduced mobility appreciate these quality developments and are already enjoying them without moderation. Moreover, at the end of the official ceremony, led by Hervé Stassinos, the elected officials and guests set off for a bike ride on the new path! As a reminder, this €1,550,000 including tax project covers not only the creation of a shared path but also the redevelopment of its immediate surroundings (network upgrades, renovation of public lighting, and landscaping). To facilitate soft mobility, new bicycle parking racks have been installed in the town. Recently, at the exit of the shared path, in front of the restaurant l’Essentiel in La Garonne, the City created a bicycle parking area.
