Then, Michèle Voyer invited Benoît d'Aiguillon, a professor at the journalism school of Marseille, to present the new activity of UTL6, namely the 7 “Conf'Actu” which will take place on Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. in La Garde. With his colleague José Lenzini, these two great professionals will invite participants to better master the media. The first two “Conf'Actu” will be dedicated to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the television news.

Furthermore, Michèle Voyer recalled: “The lectures of UTL6 take place alternately at the Espace des Arts du Pradet and at the auditorium of the media library of La Garde. They take place on Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m., with the exception of two evening lectures at 6:30 p.m. in La Garde.”

With the support of the association's honorary president, she presented the lectures of those who could not attend. In particular, the two lectures, including the one held in Le Pradet with Jean-Marc Ginoux on October 8, “Hazards and errors in major scientific discoveries”, and the one on March 25 on “Do James Bond's gadgets have a scientific reality?”

Thus, Philippe Granarolo, who also spoke in Le Pradet on September 17, presented his arguments on “Spinoza, philosopher of joy”. In fact, he will close the academic year with an evening lecture on May 23, 2025, on “ChatGPT: tool or rival for humans?”

For his part, Christian Gerini made the audience's mouth water by explaining the experience he is offering on December 10, in Le Pradet, with “Vasarely's impossible geometries: What does your brain see?”

Finally, Bernard Sasso presented his two talks, which he will deliver in Le Pradet. First, the one on January 21, with “The Brontë sisters: a family of geniuses”. Then the one on May 13, with “The Impressionists in London after the Paris Commune”.

Furthermore, Gérard Garcia will undoubtedly captivate the public with his lecture on April 29 in La Garde: “A short history of jazz from its origins to the present day ... or almost”.

At the end of the presentation, everyone was delighted with the quality and eclecticism of the proposed program.
