Set off on a beautiful trip to Italy!
After a wonderful season focused on Japan, the new cultural season of Espace des Arts heads off on the roads of Italy.

Bérénice Bonnal, deputy mayor in charge of culture, presented this new program, accompanied by Mayor Hervé Stassinos and Martine Clopin, municipal councillor in charge of the library. ITALY, A FASCINATING COUNTRY 'Italy, this fascinating and diverse country, offers us an invaluable cultural heritage. From the Colosseum in Rome to the canals of Venice, from the masterly works of the Renaissance to neorealist films, every corner of this peninsula conceals treasures just waiting to be discovered or rediscovered.'
'It is this diversity and richness that we wished to honor,' declared Bérénice Bonnal.

She added: 'Throughout this season, we will offer a series of exceptional events to celebrate Italian culture in all its forms. On the program, classical music concerts, modern theater, artists who are as talented as they are imaginative, authors capable of exploring new genres and taking us on a journey with them. A proposal as original as it is captivating for all Pradetans!'
Discovering elsewhere while staying in our beautiful village is the ambition of this cultural season full of surprises.'
THE UPCOMING EVENTS As early as October 18, Espace des Arts inaugurated its live performance calendar with Suonno d'Ajere, a refined and sparkling trio whose singer Irène Scarpato will dazzle you with her talent, but also her Mediterranean charm. Accompanied by Gian Marco Libeccio on guitar and Marcello Smigliante Gentile on mandolin and mandoloncelle (Mondocello in Italian), the trio from Naples revisited tunes of yesterday with a fresh new perspective, inviting us on an intoxicating musical journey with sounds typical of Southern Italy. Then on Friday, November 15, it's 'Frida Kahlo, Ma Réalité', a play written and performed by Bénédicte Allard, an actress from Théâtre National de Nice.
Her passion for the painter led her from her psychology thesis to the creation of this work tracing the tumultuous life of Frida and her consuming passions, whether for her art or for her husband Diego Riviera: 'Viva la Vida!

' In December, the group The Supersoul Brothers plunges us into Deep Soul, with the energy of Motown from the 70s. On Friday, December 6, prepare to be spellbound by the catchy rhythm of their Soul Made in France. This group from Béarn, acclaimed at the Jazz In Marziac festival, is in full swing, also participating in competitions in Memphis!
On December 12, the journey continues from the South to the North of Italy with the group Terracanto, based in Marseille, which offers 'Curmaia', a concert at the church in Le Pradet. Discover the songs of Italian peasants in the form of three-voice polyphonies, accompanied by guitar, tambourine, and accordion! This free concert is highly anticipated.
