In the Commission de la défense nationale et des forces armées, it was time to appoint the various budget rapporteurs, says the parliamentarian: “For the first time in the last 30 years, I have been reappointed for a second legislature to my duties as rapporteur for the program 'Préparation et emploi des forces: Marine'. It is an honor to continue the work begun in the service of the Nation. I will continue to advocate for an ambitious format for our forces.” “The unprecedented efforts made since 2017 to repair and then transform our armed forces must be maintained. Within this framework, I will ensure respect for the ambitions we set for ourselves under the Loi de programmation militaire 2024-2030. The budgetary context must not eclipse the perilous international situation, particularly at sea. Faced with a world where violence is increasingly unleashed, the Marine nationale plays a role that is more essential than ever and bound to grow stronger,” adds the MP and rapporteur for the Marine budget.
