Since 2023, ceiling fans have been installed in school cafeterias of the Jean Aicard, Zunino 1, Maurice Delplace, and Lucie Tardivier schools, as well as in the two dormitories of the Maurice Delplace school.

In line with its commitment to the environment, the City opted for this system, which is far less energy-consuming than alternative solutions. The benefits of installing ceiling fans are multiple. They lower a room's temperature by an average of 4°. They provide a feeling of freshness by evaporating moisture on the skin's surface without drying out the air. They also ventilate the room, ensuring healthier air. Thus, 97 ceiling fans were installed for a budget of €65,938 excl. VAT. This operation, supported by the State as part of the dotation de soutien à l’investissement local, was subsidized up to €21,987.20 for all sites. The City also received a subsidy from the Caisse d’Allocations Familiales amounting to €1,657.59 for the work carried out at the Maurice Delplace school.
