Success for the Sustainable Development Fair
On October 19, many visitors gathered at the Jardin de Baudouvin for the day dedicated to cork oak, an emblematic plant heritage of Provence.
Workshops, tree climbing, conferences, sustainable development fair, so many events inaugurated by Mayor Thierry Albertini, Sylvie Laporte, regional councillor, the leaders of Forêt modèle de Provence and Louis Reygnier, president of Lou Rodou Valettois. Heating professionals were also gathered to present the new wood pellet heating technologies with the regional distributor FALAIZE BOIS ÉNERGIE. Thierry Albertini was delighted: "This 8th edition of the Week-end du chêne-liège is an opportunity to highlight the regional forest heritage, the multiple facets of using cork oak in crafts, the wood trades and our terroir with its local artisans and producers.
Numerous activities for children enhanced this day.
