Stéphane Rambaud: 'Governments make the French pay for their poor management of power'

As in the 576 other constituencies of France, the Craurois, the Londais, the Carqueirannais, the Hyérois, the Pradétans, and the Gardéens are sick and tired of political phraseology and media lies.
I hear them every day when I travel across my constituency, and I understand them. There is an enormous need to change the way we govern and inform.
TWO LIES The media system, reinforced by its retinue of expert circles, presented candidate Emmanuel Macron to us in 2017 as being 'new to politics' when he had already been François Hollande's Minister of Economy and Finance for 3 years. This was the first lie.
The second lie was presenting Macron as the 'Mozart of finance' who was going to solve the problem of France's 2,100 billion euros in debt. Today, we face a colossal abyss of over 3,300 billion € of debt while Emmanuel Macron continues to lecture the French during every televised address.
Successive governments make the French pay for waste and their poor management of power. In 2024, in the European and legislative elections, the French voted for the Rassemblement national to protect themselves and their purchasing power.
As the leading political opposition party with 143 MPs, the RN (and the UDR) participated in the fall of the Barnier government. In doing so, it prevented 40 million in additional taxes and duties that were to be borne by French taxpayers.
It prevented pensions from not being adjusted on January 1st and allowed pensions to benefit from a 2.2% increase. Thanks to the censure, the 143 MPs prevented many medicines from no longer being reimbursed.
The censure allowed for a 14% decrease in electricity rates as of February 1st, whereas an increase had been planned in the 2025 budget. In 2024, the RN protected the French from tax increases and defended their purchasing power.
These are concrete results that our fellow citizens were waiting for. They also expect us to fight against state waste.
Indeed, billions are spent by 1,200 agencies with vague goals. Meanwhile, our French start-ups are cruelly lacking in investment.
RIGHT-WING TANDEM From now on, the media present the Retailleau - Darmanin couple as a right-wing tandem that will tackle the fight against insecurity and drug trafficking. One more lie.
Granted, these gentlemen speak well, loudly, and know how to make themselves heard. They speak well because their speeches map out the guidelines and the program of the Rassemblement national.
The reality is quite different! Thus on October 31, 2024, during the RN's parliamentary niche, Bruno Retailleau refused, along with the Macronists and the left, to vote for our bill on minimum mandatory sentences to fight impunity.
And the security record is already catastrophic. During New Year's Eve, 984 cars were set on fire, 420 people were arrested, and 310 others were taken into police custody.
And very few offenders were incarcerated! These ministers are no longer credible.
They are trying to recreate 'Sarkozysme'—that is, using a tough discourse, labeled as right-wing by the media, to cover up policies that are in reality centrist and lax. The French are disappointed.
They had voted for Sarkozy thinking they were voting for firmness towards offenders. What they got was 'positive' discrimination, which is nothing other than anti-French racism.
