A 2nd edition dedicated to sport

Due to the JO 2024 and 'Var, terre de sport', it was with a sporting dynamic that the fair opened its doors on November 7 at the various Chalucet sites (Médiathèque, Maison de la créativité, and Les Beaux-Arts) in Toulon. Supported by the Département, the fair highlighted the alliance between public service and amateur or professional sports. Alongside the village of 13 stands representing the three public service branches (State, territorial, and hospital), a round table discussion 'Sport and public service: cross-perspectives' gathered testimonials and exchanges from personalities. On the occasion of the fair, more than 120 positions were available in the Var, which candidates could secure through job dating interviews.
The fair also offered free-access coaching workshops to help prepare for these interviews, notably thanks to a filmed pitch with FACE Var, and special training for public service executives with APEC and Light consultants. In addition, a special JO round table on 'Sport and public service' was held in the presence of great champions from the Var and public employees: Caroline Jouisse (open water swimming), Gérard Navarin (sailing), and Jean-Baptiste Bernaz (laser sailing).
Finally, a web conference addressed the attractiveness of public employment in the Var.
