At the 4ème batterie of the 54ème RA, capitaine Mickaël succeeded capitaine François

Indeed, on January 10, the town center vibrated to the rhythm of the 54ème Régiment d'Artillerie during a ceremony held under the presidency of colonel Xavier Tarot, commanding officer of the regiment. Thus, capitaine François passed the torch to his successor, capitaine Mickaël, marking the beginning of a new era for this unit. On this occasion, the 4ème batterie paraded to the powerful sound of a Mahoran song. After two intense years at the head of the unit, capitaine François expressed his gratitude: "Commanding the 4ème batterie was an honor and an immense source of pride. Every operation, every challenge met together, will remain engraved in my memory. I am proud of the path we have traveled and of the exceptional esprit de corps that we have managed to maintain." The ceremony had started with an impeccable alignment of a detachment of the 130 artillerymen of the battery, nicknamed "Les Archers". This nickname reflects their mission. Indeed, like archers aiming at the sky, these military men and women operate in the field of surface-to-air artillery, a pillar of French air defense, recognized worldwide for its expertise.
