Success of the 2025 defense and security careers edition

At the invitation of the Mission locale, young partners from defense and security careers in the Toulon area and suburbs were present at this new edition. This event was the opportunity for numerous exchanges between speakers and the many candidates who attended. On the ground, the Mission locale is an ally in the Toulon area, in the job search at the service of young people.

DEFINING A CAREER PLAN

Thus, 70 young people were able to talk, bring their CVs, have personalized interviews with passionate professionals, and discover the diversity of careers offered in these sectors, from the operational reserve to professional and military ones. Generally speaking, the Mission locale is aimed at young people aged 16 to 25, whether they are in school or not. It offers personalized support to facilitate their professional integration. For example, the Mission locale informs young people about careers, training, financial aid, etc. It helps them define their career plan, based on their skills, interests, and the job market. In terms of job search support, it offers workshops on job search techniques (resume and cover letter writing, job interview preparation), job offers, connecting with companies, etc. It carries out personalized follow-up with young people, even after their professional integration, to ensure their stability and fulfillment. And since 2022, the Contrat d'Engagement Jeune (CEJ) has been a flagship program to support young people towards employment. It consists of intensive support of 15 to 20 hours per week, including training periods, company immersions, workshops, etc. The CEJ can be offered by the Mission locale as well as France Travail. In conclusion, the Mission locale is an essential actor in the professional integration of young people because it offers personalized support tailored to each situation, allowing young people to build their professional future with confidence, thanks to a team of competent and motivated advisors.
