La Caf du Var improves its quality of service

Thus, the deployment of the pre-filled quarterly resource statement at the national level, since March 1st, which primarily impacts beneficiaries of the Prime d’activité and the Revenu de Solidarité Active (RSA), is part of the solidarity-at-source scheme, which induces a change in the relationship with the public.

But what is truly new for nearly 109,000 Varois beneficiaries is the pre-filled resources declaration for the RSA and the Prime d’activité. “Indeed, the Caf has set up a resources declaration for beneficiaries of the RSA and the Prime d’activité which aims to simplify the management of rights with pre-filled quarterly resources declaration forms. Easier, more reliable, it allows for a calculation of the amount of these benefits tailored as closely as possible to the beneficiaries' situation, thus limiting the risk of errors. A decisive step in “solidarity at source”, which shows the Caf's commitment to facilitating and simplifying the procedures of its beneficiaries,” adds the Caf.

SIMPLIFICATION

In concrete terms, the pre-filling of quarterly declarations is part of the more global Solidarité à la source project. It is an essential step in simplifying the reporting process for the public, but also in securing incoming data, a major challenge in paying the correct entitlement. For beneficiaries of the RSA and the Prime d’activité, this means replacing a manual quarterly resources declaration with a declaration pre-filled with the beneficiary's resources. These resources are retrieved from the dispositif de ressources mensuelles (DRM). Prior to this reform, beneficiaries had to declare their resources from M-1 to M-3. In the future, it will simply be necessary to validate the pre-displayed resources from M-2 to M-4, after verification. In the event of a user's disagreement with one or more amounts, they will be able to create a report sent to an expert unit for analysis. Pending confirmation by this unit, their correction will be taken into account. Since January 2024, the montant net social (MNS), which appears on pay slips, replaces the net income received and now constitutes the unique reference. It allows for the integration of the sum of all income to be taken into account. It is also calculated in an identical manner by all employers and social organizations.
