On February 24, Hélène Arnaud-Bill, mayor of La Garde, presented five checks to benefit five associations working to support people affected by breast cancer. This initiative follows the organization of the Rose Color race, a solidarity event. This event, which took place last October 13, gathered many participants, all united by the same cause of raising funds for the fight against breast cancer and supporting patients.
Organized by the CPTS VPM and the City, the mayor welcomed the outcome of this event: "Thanks to the mobilization of participants and volunteers, this initiative was a great success. After this beautiful day of solidarity, this check for €16,600 will help support concrete actions and improve the daily lives of patients and their families."
The next Rose Color will take place in October in La Valette-du-Var.
