Great success for 'Les Arts au Château'
The Ville hosted the Festival de Sculpture, an outstanding exhibition both in the number of artists exhibiting and the quality of the works on display.

Around thirty artists, both local and others from all over France, exhibited their works at the Château. Materials such as marble, bronze, wood, and glass offered an eclectic range, which delighted art lovers. Among the outstanding pieces, the Ours blanc by François Pompon, which attracted many art lovers, stood majestically in the entrance hall.
President of the Office Culturel, Jeanne Autran emphasized: "This year, the festival occupied several areas of the Château, including the two main halls, the small room leading to the wedding hall, as well as the inner courtyard. The lawn made it possible to accommodate sculptures exceeding three or four meters in height."

MANY VISITORS The organizers were delighted with the influx of visitors from different backgrounds, highlighting the importance of this event for the cultural reputation of the region. Pupils from local schools also came to discover the works, thereby strengthening the link between art and education.
The festival highlighted emerging artists but also established figures, such as Max Ernst, whose works were exhibited in the park of the Château. The partner galleries, Galerie De Vos and Galerie Estades, contributed to the diversity of the works presented.
This biennial is more than a simple art event; it represents a true cultural gathering, where the harmony between artists and the public is celebrated. This edition, with its positive dynamic, helps to promote art and creativity in the region.
PLEASE NOTE... The 3rd sculpture biennial welcomed artists such as Line Boué, Jules Dabonneville, EldeKan, Didier Ellena, Patrick Guignabodet, Perrine Le Bars, François Saison, Tusoli, Rosa Vanmarcke - Gillissen, Sylvie Derely and many other artists...
