As part of the departmental action plan for the restoration of daily security (PADRSQ), the internal security forces, together with the police municipale of the Ville de Toulon and partner administrations, are carrying out specific actions to combat crime in the district of La Beaucaire. An initial judicial anti-drug operation ordered by the procureur near the tribunal judiciaire de Toulon led to 6 arrests at the very beginning of this week. 3 people were brought before court. Several public security operations were also carried out: road checks, controls on public roads and in common areas (building entrance halls, cellars...). These operations mobilized more than 150 policiers nationaux, supported by agents from the police municipale. An initial assessment can be made with 150 people and 107 vehicles checked, 10 people arrested (including 3 undocumented foreigners), 41 offenses recorded, and 11 wrecked vehicles removed. As part of the fight against fraud and illegal work, a CODAF (comité opérationnel départemental anti-fraude) operation targeting local businesses in the district was also carried out in conjunction with agents from the URSSAF, the direction départementale de la protection des populations, the direction départementale de l’emploi, du travail et des solidarités, and the direction départementale des Finances publiques with 58 personnel mobilized, 6 businesses checked, and 32 offenses recorded. In parallel with daily security operations, local authorities (Métropole and Ville) as well as the landlord (THM) are conducting cleanliness and development initiatives that contribute to improving the living environment of the neighborhood's residents.
