The carnival, a lovely moment of friendliness

Every year, a very large crowd gets carried away by the festive spirit of the event. In La Farlède, parents, children, young and old were gathered for a recreational and joyful afternoon, filled with entertainment and sweet treats. The Service des Festivités met them at the small square of the Moulin de La Capelle for the start of a great musical parade.

Accompanied by costumed characters, families strolled through the streets in a festive and rhythmic atmosphere. In short, a lovely moment of friendliness and sharing for all ages.

After the parade, the festivities continued in the municipal hall where a mini disco allowed children to have fun and extend the magic of the carnival in a safe environment. And because in La Farlède, carnival also rhymes with gourmet treats, crepe stands delighted food lovers young and old, while balloons, sweets, and goodies were distributed throughout the afternoon to the great joy of the participants.
