A carnival celebrating nature!
Due to heavy rain forecast for Sunday, March 9, the carnival was postponed to March 16.
But the party was only postponed as the City invited the Valettois and Valettoises to parade under the theme 'Nature in all its forms'. The public thus gathered for an even more festive carnival dedicated to nature. Participants therefore had an extra week to fine-tune their costumes and bring their best energy to parade through the streets of La Valette.
The grand parade started near Espace Pierre-Bel, featuring floats and costumes inspired by flora and fauna. Musicians and troupes then brought the streets to life in a festive atmosphere.
Young and old alike were dressed up and ready to party! Vibrant flowers, wild animals, raging elements... They let their imaginations run wild and celebrated nature during this great festive and colorful event!
In short, a colorful parade with music and entertainment in a festive and friendly atmosphere, with costumes and floats inspired by nature. And of course, a shower of confetti and plenty of good humor!
