230 visitors and 23 companies at the TPM Job Forum
Initiated by the Maison de l'Emploi TPM, a "Shop ton job!" Job Forum was held on April 2 at place de la Liberté, in the UPV premises.
Nearly 230 visitors came to meet 23 companies currently recruiting. On the agenda were meetings and interviews thanks to the presence of local businesses and major groups looking for their future collaborators in numerous sectors. Additionally, a special focus on agricultural careers was planned in a dedicated space.
3 WORKSHOPS
"There was also a virtual reality stand to immerse oneself in different professional environments and discover careers in an unprecedented way," says Isabelle Masse-Isidore, head of the Pôle Appui aux Acteurs Économiques at the Maison de l'Emploi TPM. In charge of the Clauses Sociales d'Insertion in public procurement, she adds: "Candidates could also perfect their professional pitch in 10 minutes for an effective meeting with recruiters during the "Booste ton entretien" mini-workshops, highlighting skills and qualities. We also had a PARCOUREO stand to confirm one's professional project thanks to an online test with advice from a facilitator to discover the careers that best matched the candidates. Finally, the fair also had a free childcare area thanks to our partner Kangourou Kids. It welcomed about ten children to allow parents to meet employers peacefully." On the employers' side, it was unanimous! "Great organization, thank you very much!" "A variety of job seeker profiles." "I think I have found a few of my future collaborators." "I did not find the profiles I had come looking for, but I met others who interest me a lot, I will see them again."
