The CAF moves into town
A new reception point opens to provide better service to families.
With a view to improving its services and local presence, the Caisse d'Allocations Familiales (CAF) of Var has moved its headquarters and reception centers to the cities of La Garde and Toulon. This development, part of a modernization strategy, aims to offer families and beneficiaries easier and more direct access to essential social services.
STRATEGIC RELOCATION Thus, on April 2, the CAF inaugurated a new reception point in La Garde, within the Maison France Services, in the presence of Jean-Louis Masson, president of the Département, Hélène Arnaud-Bill, mayor of La Garde, Marie-Hélène Charles, deputy mayor in charge of solidarity, and Julien Orlandini, director of the CAF. The latter stressed the importance of this move, reassuring beneficiaries about the continuity of services: “Despite this move, rights and procedures remain handled without interruption. The team of advisors remains at the disposal of beneficiaries to support them throughout this transition.”
“This move demonstrates the commitment of the CAF of Var to better meet the needs of families and to promote access to rights for all inhabitants of the department. And it shows how much the city of La Garde and the CAF have been partners of choice for many years!” added Jean-Louis Masson.

The public opening hours of the Maison France Services are as follows: Mondays: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm - 4 pm. Thursdays: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm. For more information, you can visit: ville-lagarde.fr.
Since 2023, the Maison France Services of La Garde, located at 217 Mail de la Planquette, has been a one-stop shop facilitating access to public rights and services. In addition to the CAF, many other services are available there: employment, housing, social aid, taxation, health, retirement, justice, energy, digital services... This location offers personalized support without an appointment for administrative procedures, and consultation sessions with various professionals and public organizations are organized throughout the month.
The CAF of Var is strengthening its local presence with two new addresses: These changes aim to ensure better accessibility for families and to simplify administrative procedures. • La Garde: The reception desk is located within the Maison France Services in La Planquette. A place where users can access various public services, including social assistance, employment, health, and more.
• Toulon: The CAF offices are located at 75 chemin de La Loubière. These offices have been handling mail related to beneficiaries' files since the end of March and are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm non-stop.
