La Garde loves its babies!
It is with great joy and friendliness that the City welcomed, on March 19, the 219 newborns of the year 2024.

In the presence of many parents, the municipal team, led by the mayor Hélène Arnaud-Bill, organized a day dedicated to the development of the youngest through various activities. The event, entitled 'La Garde loves its babies', allowed families to gather in a warm and festive atmosphere. Upon arrival, parents and their children were invited to share a convivial snack, offering a moment of sharing between generations.
The perfect opportunity for young and old alike to get to know each other and exchange thoughts on the wonderful adventure that is parenthood.
YOUNG READERS' CORNER The festivities did not stop there, as a variety of activities were also on offer. A young readers' corner offered the youngest a space conducive to discovering reading, while a play area allowed children to have fun and socialise in a safe and suitable environment.

The event was marked by the traditional family photo, a precious keepsake for parents and their children.
This initiative is part of the Municipality's desire to promote the development of the Gardéens of all generations, by offering them moments of sharing and friendliness throughout the year. Through these events, the City demonstrates its commitment to the well-being of its inhabitants and support for young families.
For Hélène Arnaud-Bill, this day was an opportunity to reaffirm the importance given to families within the municipality: 'This day represents our commitment to collective well-being, where each generation finds its place and its balance. We are committed to supporting families right from birth, by offering them services and events adapted to everyone's needs.'
