La Maison des Parents celebrated its 1st anniversary
On March 22, La Maison des Parents celebrated its first anniversary with an exceptional event, bringing together parents, children, and professionals...

LA MAISON DES PARENTS, A MUST-VISIT PLACE FOR FAMILIES For a year now, La Maison des Parents has become a must-visit place for families in the Var. This parenting support center, led by Véronique and Bruno, offers a warm and personalized welcome to families. These are experts in child health and family support who bring their knowledge and experience, while setting up listening, sharing, and respite areas for parents.

EXPERT "We love our little and big ones very much, but sometimes, truth be told, we need to take a breather," share parents and grandparents in unison. La Maison offers activities for everyone, such as chat cafés, fun workshops, art therapy sessions, and even relaxing walks. These activities are entirely free and open to all, with or without children, upon reservation.
It is aimed at the whole family, from the youngest to the oldest, by offering services adapted to each stage of parenting. Whether to prepare for the arrival of a child, support their development, or find solutions to temporary difficulties, the place is a real resource for families in the area. Parenting consultations and workshops are open to all, in an inclusive and caring approach.
The monthly program, available online, offers varied activities, enough to meet everyone's needs.
During this day dedicated to parenting and family well-being, it was an opportunity for families to discover practical solutions and meet experts in the parenting field, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
VILLAGE DES PARENTS The program was rich and varied with many activities and enriching encounters. Visitors explored the Village des Parents, a space where everyone could play, create, relax, and share. Among the workshops, participants were able to try graffiti with Alex Z, take part in a big digital game organized by the association Horizon Multimédia, or enjoy moments of relaxation with yoga, dance therapy, sophrology sessions, and even an introduction to first aid, hosted by the Mutualité française.
During this day, families were able to find practical answers to their daily concerns. Whether for advice on lactation and perinatality, information on childcare options, or to address topics such as physiological babywearing or sensory baby baths, the diversity of speakers made it possible to cover a wide range of essential parenting topics. In the village, professionals addressed numerous themes (disability, autism, child protection, women's rights, digital mediation, etc.)
A family therapist, specializing in adolescent-related issues, also discussed the topics of phobia, mediation, and hypnosis.
One of the highlights of the day was the conference by child psychiatrist Patrick Ben Soussan, author of several books on parenting and disability. This expert, head of the "Crèche à la Friche" in Marseille, shared his unique experience in the cultural and artistic development of toddlers, with an emphasis on social diversity.
