For the 3rd edition of the "Nettoyons le Sud" initiative on April 26, over 25,000 volunteers (residents, high schoolers, businesses, and associations...

This year, several thousand people were mobilized on the ground and sensitized to preserving the territory and fighting against litter. 100 tons of waste were collected in nearly 400 collection points (roadsides, beaches, natural areas, and urban zones). This edition took place in the context of the Année de la Mer, which is held in Nice in June with the Conférence des Nations Unies sur les Océans (UNOC). The 2025 edition is part of a concrete commitment to protect beaches, ports, and marine biodiversity. Thus, a great success in Le Lavandou and Bormesles-Mimosas for the major waste collection day on the beaches of the town center and La Favière and their surroundings. An operation bringing together the towns, associations, and citizens with the association "Festival de plongée du Var". "Well done to all the participants of this 3rd edition and a huge thank you to each and every one of you! This new collective momentum is a tremendous success.
