A check of €12,000 for the association "Amitiés Cité à Toulon"

This assistance concretely resulted in the presentation of the €12,000 check on March 5 at the Bistrot Chalucet.

The motorway operator was won over by the project supported by the association, which consists of supporting isolated and vulnerable people in their integration. "This project stems from an observation and awareness of the specific needs of residents in priority neighborhoods. Indeed, the latter are often marked by socio-economic challenges such as unemployment, insecurity, and very limited access to public services and leisure activities."

Also, residents can feel isolated and excluded," recalls Régis Lefebvre, president of the association "Amitiés Cité à Toulon".

Associations and, more particularly, Amitiés Cité wish to strengthen their local offerings for the inhabitants of the neighborhoods where they are active. The president of the structure adds: "This is only possible with a team that can devote time to these people to help them and guide them as effectively as possible with their problems. This is why the association has increased the working hours of its professional integration advisor and its family economics advisor to deploy additional time dedicated to their beneficiaries."

On the ground, these professionals support employees as part of an integration workshop. "It seems necessary to strengthen actions towards sustainable employment by working, in parallel, on the themes of mobility, health, housing, budget, self-esteem, and removing administrative barriers," concludes Salvador NUNEZ, Operational Director of VINCI Autoroutes.
