15 junior doctors and 101 interns in training at Sainte-Musse
The Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal Toulon - La Seyne-sur-Mer, support facility of the Groupement Hospitalier de Territoire du Var (GHT 83), welcomed...

Yann Le Bras, director of the CHITS and Doctor Yannick Knefati, president of the Commission Médicale d’Établissement, gave a presentation of the establishment and certain specific activities. Many of the facility's departments benefit from these students who have come to train with our professionals, representing more than 400 physical staff members for the medical personnel. These young doctors join a committed and high-performing team, a state-of-the-art technical platform, and a reference hospital in the Var with more than 4,500 staff and 1,300 beds. Accompanied by our teams, these young professionals have joined the 14 medical and specialty departments, including Pharmacy, Anesthesia-Resuscitation-Brain Injury Unit-Hospital Coordination (ARRUC), Surgery, Nephrology-Geriatrics, Gynecology-Obstetrics, Cardiology-Vascular Medicine-Neurology-Endocrinology, Emergency, Adult Psychiatry, Pediatrics, (...). Certified with the "High Quality of Care" distinction in February 2024 by the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS), the Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal Toulon-La Seyne-sur-Mer groups together three hospital sites for the entire health territory of the large Toulon metropolitan area, home to more than 500,000 residents (the George Sand hospital in La Seyne-sur-Mer, the Sainte-Musse hospital in Toulon, and the Georges Clemenceau hospital in La Garde).
