350 Varois teachers celebrate Physical Education and Sport

Organized around intercultural exchanges, collaborative workshops, team sports competitions, and an international conference, the World Teacher Games 2025 brought together more than 350 participants from 27 countries, to pay tribute to those who transmit the values of fair play, respect, and solidarity every day.

PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUES "The World Teacher Games aim to highlight the fundamental role of EPS teachers in developing healthy lifestyles among young people, and to reaffirm the importance of continuing education for teachers in the face of current public health challenges for students," stressed Hervé Stassinos, mayor of Le Pradet, welcoming these games with great enthusiasm. This initiative is co-financed by the Commission européenne, placed under the patronage of the Commission nationale française pour l'UNESCO. It was sponsored by the ministère de l'Éducation nationale, de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche and the ministère des Sports, de la Jeunesse et de la Vie associative.

It was also supported by the Région Sud and TPM committed to the well-being of Varois middle school students.
