Cuisines et Vins du Sud, a great success
The new edition of Cuisines et Vins du Sud was held in a warm and festive atmosphere, celebrating Southern gastronomy and wines.
On May 18, the city vibrated to the rhythm of Southern gastronomy and wines during this edition of Cuisines et Vins du Sud. Free and open to all, the event animated the city center, transforming the streets into a temple of Southern gastronomy. From place Jean Jaurès to avenue Charles de Gaulle, passing through the streets in the heart of the city, visitors enjoyed a rich and varied program.
A CONVIVIAL PROGRAM
Thierry Albertini, the mayor, welcomed the success of this convivial event: "What a pleasure to have inaugurated this new edition of Cuisines et Vins du Sud, in the presence of many partners and Valettois who came to share a common art of living. Thank you to the shopkeepers, chefs, winemakers, municipal agents, and all our partners for their flawless mobilization. Conviviality is more than ever at the heart of our project for La Valette – and it will continue all summer with the upcoming guinguettes and festivities"! On the program: culinary demonstrations led by passionate chefs, wine and local product tastings, as well as fun workshops for children. A great novelty this year, a musical night-time event until 10 p.m. delighted visitors, extending the festive atmosphere late into the evening. Anne Adouast, deputy mayor in charge of festivities, welcomed this great dynamic: "From place Jean Jaurès to avenue Charles de Gaulle, all of La Valette was celebrating! This event united generations around taste, sharing, and local culture. See you this summer to extend this great energy with the upcoming guinguettes and festivities"!
