Jean-Pierre Savelli, an iconic voice of French variety music
Singer and producer Jean-Pierre Savelli left his mark on the 80s with the duo Peter et Sloane "Besoin de rien, envie de toi" and cult theme songs like...

Still passionate, he continues to share his love of music through shows and artistic projects. In particular with the school "Le Jour se Lève", which is presenting its year-end show.

Is your school preparing a big show on June 29?

This will be a highlight for our 70 students, who will take the stage at Live, the small 300-seat venue located within the Zénith de Toulon. They will perform classics from French musicals, such as "Molière, Mozart, Les 10 Commandements".
Tell us a bit about the school and its activities?
The Le Jour se Lève association has been running for four years. We offer singing, dancing, and drama classes in La Valette, as well as in Solliès-Pont where we have a section dedicated to dance (Lady Style, Zumba). Every Monday evening, we welcome teenagers and adults to the Espace Pierre Bel in La Valette, an intimate 100-seat theater, to teach them how to sing, dance, and act. The students very quickly start working with microphones, and some will perform French hits they particularly enjoy.
Is the June 29 show an annual event?
Absolutely! It is our year-end show and we have been performing it live for four years. This year, it takes place on a Sunday at 3 p.m., but if demand is high, as we only have 300 seats, we could add a second performance at 5:30 p.m.
UPCOMING DATES NOT TO BE MISSED:
• June 29: Show by the Le jour se lève school at Live, Zénith de Toulon. • August 2: Tribute to Michel Legrand at the jardin de Baudouvin, La Valette (free show, limited seating). • August 29: Les Décennies, a show covering the 1950s to the 2000s, featuring 14 artists and fabulous costumes, for the final date of the mairie de La Valette.
