With a degree in Book and Heritage Professions in Dijon, she began her career in libraries and town halls. But it was in 2016, when she moved to Hyères, that she decided to launch her artistic entrepreneurship. Hyères "I told myself that if people like my work, then I will keep going," she confides with simplicity.

Her gamble paid off: supported by a loyal community, she has successfully established her creative universe. For Laure Vierne, drawing is much more than a job: it is a true inner balance. For her, art is like a refuge. "It is a mental health tool that allows me to express my emotions," explains the young woman.

Her unique style, marked by the use of lightly diluted watercolor and pencils, brings to life works rich in emotion. "I use watercolor and pencils. I mix with pigments and in overlays, either adding layers or creating details with pencils," specifies the artist.

In fact, Hyères is a source of inspiration. Since her arrival, she has drawn her inspiration from the local landscapes and opportunities. In 2018, she obtained premises within the framework of the Parcours des Arts, a stepping stone that allowed her to make a name for herself.

And, her online shop plays a key role in her visibility. Her collaborations with local institutions, such as the musée de la Banque, bear witness to her integration into the cultural fabric of Hyères.

Behind this passion lies a major challenge: suffering from severe endometriosis, Laure Vierne faces debilitating after-effects. She is leading an administrative battle for the recognition of her disability as a self-employed worker. "Disability is not always visible," she emphasizes.

For the artist, it is essential to find a subtle balance between her health and her work. "I love what I do, but I cannot work like an able-bodied person. It is essential that there is a recognition of this reality," adds Laure.

Despite the obstacles, she continues to draw, create and share her universe. Her determination and passion for her work are an inspiration to all those around her. Her work, both cathartic and a catalyst for creativity, proves that art can be a true force of resilience in the face of life's challenges.
