Isabelle Bourgeois awarded Officier des Arts et des Lettres
On June 6, in the enchanting setting of the Jardin remarquable de Baudouvin, a tribute was paid to Isabelle Bourgeois, director of the Domaine.

Surrounded by elected officials, artists, friends, and culture enthusiasts, she received the insignia of Officier des Arts et des Lettres, an honorary distinction praising her exemplary career and her deep commitment to culture and public service. The medal was presented to her by Jean-Louis Masson, president of the Département.
This distinction honours the work of someone who has made the Jardin de Baudouvin much more than a nature site: a true space for exchange, transmission, and creation. On this occasion, Thierry Albertini, mayor of La Valette-du-Var, emphasized: "Her path connects the arts, public service, and collective work, always with high standards and discretion."
She beautifully embodies this idea of Édouard Glissant: "Act in your place, think with the world." This solemn moment was the expression of collective recognition for a discreet, committed woman who is deeply dedicated to promoting culture throughout her territory.
