These events are much more than just places of trade. They are spaces for meeting, sharing, and discovery, where local and artisanal products are showcased. In fact, the Provence market is the unmissable event of Friday morning! Thus, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Provence market enlivens the heart of the town. Set up on the places du général de Gaulle and the l’Armée d’Afrique, this traditional market charms with its richness and diversity. It features numerous exhibitors offering a wide range of products (seasonal fruits and vegetables, fish and meat, cheeses, spices, artisanal breads, but also textiles, flowers, and handcrafted products). The warm atmosphere and authenticity of the products make this weekly gathering a moment appreciated by both residents and visitors alike.

TUESDAY MORNING ORGANIC MARKET

And, every Tuesday morning, a 100% organic market sets up on the place du général de Gaulle. It highlights producers committed to environmentally friendly agriculture, offering quality products: vegetables, eggs, breads, honey, herbal teas, essential oils, etc. There is also the Sunday morning market. La Villa launched its Sunday market, 100% local, friendly, and committed, dedicated to local producers and artisans. It is organized in partnership with the association « CréartCompagnie ». This market is held every Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., on the parvis de l’Office de Tourisme, right in the heart of the town. “This project is part of a strong desire by the Municipalité to support short supply chains, promote local expertise, and boost local trade. Thanks to a close partnership between the Ville and the local economic players, visitors as well as Pradétans can discover a diverse and authentic selection: fresh seasonal products, artisanal creations, local specialties, and much more,” explains Hervé Stassinos, the mayor. Of CréartCompagnie, reaffirms its objective: “The goal is to offer a variety of stands exclusively reserved for local artisans, creators, and producers. Resellers are not allowed, in order to guarantee a genuine proximity between exhibitors and visitors, but above all the quality of the products offered.” To date, more than thirty professionals have already joined the initiative, among whom are market gardeners, producers of the Métropole, and committed artisans (candle makers, jewelry designers, textiles made from recycled materials, and many others). The demand to join the market is constantly increasing. This Sunday market is destined to become a real place of life, exchange, and meeting. It embodies the spirit of the town, which can be summed up in two words: warm and supportive. • his part, Laurent, founder of
