Édith Audibert, President of the Rotary Club de Hyères

This ceremony was an opportunity to celebrate a year rich in learning and commitment. Ralph Biedermann, who led the club with passion, handed over the Collar to Édith Audibert, 75th president of the Rotary Club de Hyères. During his term, Ralph Biedermann awarded the Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) distinctions to three members, testifying to their dedication and commitment within the Rotary.

DYNAMISM AND CONVIVIALITY For her part, Édith Audibert expressed her gratitude to Ralph Biedermann for his dynamism and his ability to bring members together around the core values of the Rotary. She stressed the importance of friendliness and sharing, while affirming that the Rotary is an engaged club, focused on service to others. "Service Above Self" is the motto that embodies this collective commitment.

Édith Audibert, a former elected official at the city halls of La Crau and Hyères and former MP for the 3rd constituency of Var, will continue ongoing projects while ensuring the active involvement of each member. She emphasized the need to open the club of Hyères to a younger generation, in order to boost ideas and strengthen the association's charitable impact. The new president also mentioned two themes close to her heart: environmental preservation and promoting the identity of the territory.

She wants to organize a series of conferences in collaboration with local stakeholders to address these crucial issues.

Finally, Jean-Pierre Giran, mayor of Hyères, emphasized the importance of associations in the social fabric and expressed his support for the president in her new role.

This handover marked the beginning of a new year for the Rotary Club de Hyères with ambitious projects and a renewed commitment to serving the community. Members are invited to participate in this dynamic, because it is together that they will be able to bring the values of the Rotary to life and contribute to a better future.
