Alongside Jean-Claude Vega, deputy delegate for public works, and the municipal teams mobilized year-round to beautify the living environment, the mayor presented the efforts undertaken by the municipality to offer a more pleasant environment to its residents. The latest achievements, particularly the garden courtyard of the Groupe scolaire Sandro, the new Marcel Pagnol school, and the '300 trees in the city' initiative, particularly caught the jury's attention.

During this visit, the mayor highlighted the vision carried by the Municipality: “The 21st century will be resilient or it will not be, as André Malraux might have written. What if we simply decided to think differently? To integrate the living environment and well-being into a global reflection that would place citizens before project logics?

” Thus, the elected official put forward the local policy, focused on humans and the environment, and combining modernity, adaptation to climate change, and quality of life. An ambition shared for many years by the “Villes et Villages Fleuris” label, which rewards municipalities committed to a sustainable and environmentally friendly development approach.
