With his operational, educational, and strategic experience, he intends to pursue the mission of training flight deck personnel with high standards and care. He succeeded Commander Cyril Chabrier and has a career forged in operational commitment.
Born in 1976, he joined the École de Maistrance in 1996 before training as an airborne sensor navigator at the Nîmes-Garons naval air base. He obtained his technical certificate there in September 1997 and joined the Flottille 6F. He took part in operations Trident I and II in the Adriatic Sea, completing 38 operational missions, as well as the Myrrhe 2000 mission.
In 2000, he became an instructor at the flight crew school of Nîmes-Garons, training more than one hundred Navy flight crew students over four years. Following his advanced 'operations' certificate, he was assigned in 2004 to the Flottille 28F as deputy head of the airborne radar navigator specialty.
He took part in numerous maritime surveillance missions, including the fight against illegal immigration, drug trafficking, fisheries policing, and sea rescue. GROWING RESPONSIBILITIES In 2008, qualified as an air operations controller, he embarked on the aircraft carrier Charles-de-Gaulle as officer of the watch in the 'flights' command post, and participated in operations Agapanthe 2010 and Harmattan.
In 2011, he joined the naval programs expertise center as an expert in tactical data links, then in 2013 joined the CEPA/10S in Hyères within the NH90 helicopter detachment, in charge of mission preparation and debriefing systems. In 2016, he returned to the Charles-de-Gaulle as deputy head of the 'flights' department during the Arromanches 3 mission, before taking its lead in 2017.
He played a decisive role in the Clemenceau 19 deployment and Operation Chammal. In 2019, he was assigned to the staff of the Force de l'aéronautique navale as activity officer for the carrier strike group and the helicopter component. In 2021, he joined the helicopter carrier Tonnerre as head of the flight deck and hangar department, before returning to the Charles-de-Gaulle in 2023 to lead this same department during the Akila and Clemenceau 25 missions.
He has accumulated more than 3,000 flight hours.
Married, he is the father of two children.
