With summer, synonymous with tourist crowds and intensified activities on the communal territory, Hervé Stassinos marked the launch of the summer season with a warm meeting with the main security and civil protection actors. 'This initiative aims to salute the daily commitment of these women and men who work, often behind the scenes, to ensure public peace, prevent risks – particularly fire – and intervene effectively in emergencies, whether on land or at sea. Indeed, the summer season represents a challenge for local authorities with an increase in population, greater risks associated with high heat, forest fires or boating accidents.

These events require constant vigilance,' emphasized Hervé Stassinos.

The mayor added: 'Beyond the symbolic aspect, this gathering reflects our desire to strengthen coordination and synergy between the various departments. For it is indeed thanks to close cooperation between all actors – public, associative and institutional – that the municipality can guarantee a peaceful, secure and pleasant summer for everyone.'

Thus, among the forces present were the Service Départemental d'Incendie et de Secours (SDIS), the Police nationale, the Police municipale, the Comité Communal Feux de Forêt (CCFF), the Sauveteurs en Mer as well as the Conservatoire du Littoral. All actors are mobilized, each in their area of expertise, to guarantee the safety of residents, visitors and the natural heritage throughout this sensitive period.

By organizing this moment of recognition and exchange, the City reaffirmed its support for those who watch over our territory every day. It also invited citizens to show responsibility and solidarity during this period, so that everyone can safely enjoy the beauty and richness of our coastline.
