On July 4, Vice-Admiral Serge Bordarier, commander of the Force de l'aéronautique navale (ALAVIA), officially recognized Lieutenant Commander Alexandre Pagnoux as the new commander of the Flottille 35F.
Originally from Belfort, Lieutenant Commander Alexandre Pagnoux entered the École navale in 2006. In the summer of 2010, he served as officer of the watch on the aviso Commandant Blaison on the Corymbe mission, before joining the École de l'aéronautique navale. Certified as a shipborne helicopter pilot in 2013, he was assigned to the flottilles 35F and 36F.
He operated on the Alouette 3, Dauphin Pedro, and Panther standard 2, deployed mainly on anti-aircraft frigates as part of escorts for French and American aircraft carriers. He was part of the first crew to operationally deploy the Panther's radar of interest interception system.
TEST PILOT In 2019, he joined the École du personnel d'essais et de réception. Certified as an experimental helicopter test pilot in 2020, he was assigned to CEPA/10S, where he inaugurated the position of Marine project pilot for the H160M Guépard. He participated in the detailed design of the aircraft and contributed to opening numerous operating envelopes for the Dauphin, Panther, and H160 fleets.
In 2024, he returned to an operational flotilla as second-in-command of the Flottille 35F.
Today, he has a total of 2,300 flight hours.
