This bold project, launched in April 2021 by the dynamic couple Chrystelle and Guillaume Lecomte, is the result of a consuming passion for cooking and an impressive professional career. Originally from Rennes, this duo combines their Breton roots with the sunny flavors of Provence. After 18 years spent in gourmet dining and high-end hotels, the couple decided to embark on the adventure of catering, delicatessen, and home chef services.

His rich and unusual background led him to work alongside great chefs (Anne-Sophie Pic, Yannick Alléno, Christophe Bacquier – MOF) and to shine in prestigious establishments, including a luxury hotel in Courchevel, a Relais Château in Corsica, and for 12 years at the Hôtel du Castellet.

LOCKDOWN AND CATALYST For Chrystelle and Guillaume, the lockdown period was a catalyst. In search of meaning and conviviality, the couple decided to prioritize family life while continuing to fuel their passion for gastronomy. This is how Olives & Beurre Salé was born, a catering, delicatessen, and home chef service where each product is carefully selected from trusted producers.

The concept, which marries the flavors of the South and those of Brittany, is symbolized by an evocative logo, namely an olive branch associated with the Breton Triskell.

In this delicatessen, food lovers will find a varied and mouth-watering selection: takeaway meals, home chef services, chic picnic baskets, and cocktail items. Every day, a new starter, main course, and dessert are offered, with a specialty every Friday: Aïoli. Highlights include pâté en croûte, liver terrine, anchoïade, and for those with a sweet tooth, flan pâtissier, rum babas in jars, and so many other sweet treats.

And how can we not mention Kouign Amann, this delicious Breton specialty that wins everyone's heart? "We offer custom cuisine, with specific menus for major occasions at Christmas, New Year, Easter, Mother's Day, and Valentine's Day," confides Guillaume with enthusiasm.

With the ambition of securing a spot in the Gault et Millau guide, Chrystelle and Guillaume Lecomte continue to bring their passion for gastronomy to life through Olives & Beurre Salé. A tribute to their roots and their love of cooking, which promises to delight the taste buds of food lovers and the curious alike.
