A strengthened partnership with the Finances publiques

This agreement marked a new step in the collaboration between the municipality and the Direction générale des Finances publiques (DGFiP). For more than ten years, the DGFiP has been multiplying this type of partnership with local authorities to improve the quality of public financial management. In Var, a dozen municipalities have already taken the step. Le Pradet nevertheless stands out by becoming the first local authority in the Toulon SGC area to commit to this approach. For local authorities, this partnership constitutes a tool for personalized support by the services of the Direction départementale des Finances publiques and a lever for continuous improvement. It is accompanied by close monitoring by the referent public accountant and the dedicated local advisor. But it is also a mark of trust: being invited to sign such an agreement bears witness to a rigorous and structured management, recognized by the État. Thus, this initiative reflects a shared desire to strengthen the transparency of local finances and concretely improve the service provided to citizens.
