A day with feet in the water and head in nature!

Photos PRESSE AGENCE. Indeed, the young elected members of the CME swapped their budding citizen clothes for those of "Ocean Guardians", during a day organised in La Seyne-sur-Mer, in partnership with the association ReconnectNature.

POSIDONIA This outing, as enriching as it was original, aimed to raise children's awareness of the preservation of the Méditerranée coastline through fun, immersive, and educational activities. Throughout the day, the children discovered the wealth of local marine fauna and flora. Supervised by specialized instructors, they explored the coastline, identified marine species, took part in an activity about Posidonia — an emblematic but threatened plant of the Méditerranée — and even let their creativity run wild by creating ephemeral land art works.

A highlight of the day was the creation of a collective fresco made from plant-based inks, combining artistic expression and ecological commitment. Beyond the recreational aspect, this day met precise educational objectives, namely the transmission of knowledge about the marine environment, learning by doing, and strict compliance with the zero-waste approach.

A flawless performance by the little eco-citizens who demonstrated, once again, that commitment to the planet does not wait for the number of years.
