An edition true to the founding spirit

Driven by an eclectic program and artists from diverse backgrounds, this edition was true to the founding spirit of making classical music accessible to all, without compromising on high standards. This 2025 edition took on a special dimension as it celebrated its 20th anniversary. Two decades of passion, discovery, and fidelity to an artistic ideal that, each year, places live music at the heart of social connection. Twenty years during which the festival has grown in reputation while preserving its spirit of proximity. A discreet yet meaningful celebration, focused not on nostalgia, but on the future. Created to make the masterpieces of the repertoire resonate in an intimate and warm setting, the event stands out for its desire to bring the artist closer to the audience. Small capacities, presentations of the works, exchanges after the concerts. In short, everything is designed to create a direct, living bond between the performer and the listener. "The composition of a program is an essential act. It requires weeks of negotiations with the artists but is indispensable to the coherence and credibility of the festival. This year, six evenings and eight concerts paced the week, with a range of works designed to appeal to both seasoned music lovers and the curious," recalled artistic director Sébastien Ferraro at the start of the festival. An ambition in line with the words of Julien Green, quoted at the opening of the event: "Classical music is a timeless treasure that transcends eras and cultures." A phrase that resonates like a promise. In Le Pradet, in August, music wove this invisible link between centuries, souls, and sensibilities.
