With 400 references to explore, this place is a must-visit destination for enthusiasts. Here, Jérôme Luc does not just sell wine, he offers an experience, a sensory journey to the heart of life's pleasures. Armed with a journey marked by challenges, the business owner embodies unwavering resilience and passion for the wine world.

He began his career in the restaurant industry at the age of 19, after obtaining a scientific baccalaureate. His experience in various restaurants and wine bars allowed him to develop a strong taste for wine. However, an accident in 2014 forced him to redirect his career.

It was then that he decided to specialize in wine, pursuing training as a sommelier wine merchant between 2018 and 2019, on a work-study basis at the Cave "Impression de vins" in Six-Fours-les-Plages. Then, in 2019, this enthusiast opened the doors of his own cellar with his partner, Marjorie.

GEMS The venue offers an impressive selection of wines from all regions of France as well as a few international gems (Italy, Spain, Argentina, Chile, and the United States). Thanks to his 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Jérôme has forged valuable ties with winemakers and sales representatives, allowing him to access exceptional allocations within prestigious estates such as Domaine Henri Bonneau, Château Rayas in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, or Domaine de la Romanée-Conti in Bourgogne.

The wine merchant also works with about ten estates in Bandol, alternating between five estates present all year round and five others to diversify his offer. This year, he highlighted Château Val d'Arenc and collaborated with renowned producers like Thierry Simon from Domaine de la Chrétienne and Domaine La Suffrène. At the start for the Côtes de Provence, he received support from Domaine La Bastide des Deux Lunes.

Other estates are present, such as Château Sainte-Marguerite and Figuière (La Londe-les-Maures). This year, Château Roubine, a classified growth in central Var, is highlighted.

With around 400 references of wines, beers, and spirits, the Cave offers a range starting at €6 up to grand crus, and offers the creation of gift boxes for businesses, perfect for corporate gifts.

“Wine is much more than just a drink. It evokes memories, emotions, and shared moments. When you drink wine, you always associate a person, a moment.

What drives me are human encounters, whether with sommeliers, wine merchants, or winemakers; it is a healthy atmosphere, a spirit of sharing, very convivial,” concludes the manager.
