A day to learn, play, explore, and discover the treasures of the Mediterranean natural heritage in a new way.
PROGRAMME Espace des Arts. PLEASE NOTE... The parc national de Port-Cros, in partnership with the municipality of Le Pradet, invites you to a day dedicated to nature, science, and sharing.
Free and open to all, this event is the perfect opportunity to (re)discover the richness of our Mediterranean environment through fun and educational activities: participatory mural, escape game, conferences, nature walks, screenings... In partnership with the CIETM (Collectif d'Initiative pour l'Environnement du Territoire des Maures), associations and scientific mediators are mobilizing to help you discover the treasures of our territory. Come enjoy a unique adventure to better understand and protect biodiversity.
• 9 a.m. Biodiversity Mural Salle du Conseil Municipal. Hosted by the association Sème et Récolte, this participatory and fun mural plunges you into the challenges of global biodiversity. Minimum 6 participants required.
• 10 a.m. Escape Game: Explorateurs de la Méditerranée Mine du Cap Garonne. An immersive investigation game with Planète Sciences Méditerranée, to explore the Mediterranean in a new way. Duration: 30 min – Up to 10 participants per session.
• 11 a.m. Lecture: Vivons comme une tortue ! An original encounter with Chercheurs en herbe to understand the challenges faced by the loggerhead sea turtle. In parallel, fun workshops will be offered by eco-guides on the esplanade.
• 2 p.m. Nature walk: Did dinosaurs eat dandelions? Departure: Parking de la Mine. With Emmanuelle Chevalier, explore ancient flora and unlock the botanical secrets of the past! Group limited to 20 people.
• 6 p.m. Nature walk: When the cat's away, the bats fly With the association S'Pèce, discover the mysteries of bats at dusk. • 6 p.m. Screening and debate: Dauphins, Regards d'Humains • A moving screening followed by a discussion with the directors, in partnership with Les Petits Écrans.
