An awareness day focused on sexual health

The event, free and open to everyone, took place in a friendly and educational atmosphere. In partnership with the Planning Familial Varois and the Réseau LGBTQIA+ Varois, this initiative highlighted sexual health issues (information, prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), rapid testing, and dialogue about emotional life and diversity of identities).
Many local and national associations were present (Collectif Fierté Toulon, SOS Homophobie, AFTFP, Transmission, AIDES, ENIPSE, and CRIPS Sud). They offered activities to address sexual health in an uninhibited and accessible way.
The program included free and rapid screenings (TROD VIH, personalized advice, information on PrEP and TPE) carried out in confidential spaces. There were also interactive booths dedicated to sexuality, consent, and emotional life, as well as fun activities like quizzes and adapted games, which sparked the public's curiosity.
Finally, it was also an opportunity to distribute condoms, goodies, and prizes. Beyond medical prevention, this day recalled that sexual health also encompasses personal fulfillment, self-respect and respect for others, as well as the recognition of diversity.
An initiative praised by both organizers and visitors, which contributed to promoting an inclusive and caring approach to sexual health in the Var.
